Seattle Kraken forward Andre Burakovsky is listed as week-to-week after suffering an upper-body injury on Thursday evening vs. the New Jersey Devils, the team announced.
Burakovsky had previously been sidelined 20 games with an upper-body injury, but head coach Dave Hakstol told reporters that his current injury is unrelated to his previous one.
Burakovsky, 28, has suited up in just seven of the Kraken’s 27 games this season, registering no goals and three assists.
Burakovsky is in his second season with the Kraken, signing as a free agent in the 2022 off-season. He’s previously played for the Colorado Avalanche and Washington Capitals, where he won a Stanley Cup in 2018.
