Seattle Kraken goaltender Philipp Grubauer is considered week-to-week with an undisclosed injury, head coach Dave Hakstol said Thursday.
Grubauer left Saturday’s 4-3 overtime loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning during the second period with what was believed to be a lower-body injury.
The 32-year-old Grubauer holds a 5-9-1 record, 3.25 goals-against average and .884 save percentage over 17 games this season.
With that timeline, the starting goaltender is at risk of missing the Kraken’s Winter Classic with the Vegas Golden Knights on Jan. 1.
