KTM riders snatch iPhone from Honda City driver making Instagram reels while driving [Video]

Phone snatching has been one of the most common problems, especially in metro cities. This incident, however, is one of the most daring ones that we have seen in recent times. Two men on a KTM RC390 snatch an Apple iPhone from the driver of the Honda City, who had his hand out making reels of another car.
The incident happened in the heart of Delhi, the national capital of India. The video footage, which has been recorded on the dashboard camera of another car shows the whole incident.

The video shows the drive of Honda City driving with the phone in his hand hanging out of the car. As the City driver was making videos for reels of another Honda City, two riders on KTM RC arrived at a fast speed, rode very close to the driver’s hand and snatched the phone.
The rider was at an extremely high speed and the driver of the Honda City was surprised and shocked after the snatching incident. He then realised and quickly accelerated to follow the riders on the motorcycle. However, they disappeared in the traffic of Delhi.
The driver and owner of the Honda City later went to the police to lodge a complaint. The cops refused to lodge a complaint and did not help the victims in locating the phone.
The rear camera footage shows that the bikers were not following the car. However, it is quite possible that they saw the group moving slowly and recording videos earlier. Which is why they were so confident and came to the car at a fast speed and grabbed the phone without any hiccups.
While such snatching is common in many metropolitan cities, we think this is the first time that such a robbery has been done to a car occupant from a bike. Many such snatching incidents have happened to pedestrians in the past.
What can you do to be safe?
One should not be driving and using the phone on public roads. So whatever the driver of the Honda City was doing was illegal. Apart from that, putting the phone out of the window is dangerous. Phones can also fall down during such an event and cause massive damage too.
Robberies are very common. In Delhi, robbers snatched a Toyota Fortuner at gunpoint last year. In another incident, Rs 2 crore was robbed from a businessman at gunpoint in Delhi.
