Lexus’ new subscription lets you live like you have a $200,000 car

Lexus Australia has introduced a new subscription-based owner benefit program that lets owners of all its vehicles enjoy perks previously reserved for the brand’s most expensive models.
Encore Elevate is available as a 12-month membership that costs $1899.
It’s available to all new and existing customers regardless of the vehicle model or manufacture date – the only catch is the Lexus needs to have been initially sold through an authorised Australian dealer.
This new subscription-based owner benefit program gives customers access to a fleet of Lexus vehicles, including the likes of the LC sports car and LM luxury people mover, for special occasions through Lexus on Demand twice a year, up to five days at a time throughout Australia and New Zealand.
It also includes valet parking at select shopping centres nationally four times a year, as well as two passes to more than 800 premium airline lounges around the world.
These benefits have to date been reserved for flagship ‘L-series’ vehicle (LS, LC, LX and LM) owners with their three-year Encore Platinum membership, as well as UX 300e and RZ owners with their three-year Encore Platinum Electrified memberships.
For recent Lexus LBX, UX, NX, RX and ES buyers this adds to their complimentary three-year Encore membership. A one-year Encore membership also applies to Lexus certified pre-owned vehicles.
It’s worth noting the subscription-based Encore Elevate program doesn’t include certain benefits offered in other memberships.
These include roadside assistance, capped-price servicing, service loan cars, Ampol fuel offers, exclusive travel and dining offers, as well as exclusive event access, among others.
“Encore Elevate is further proof that the conversation between Lexus as a luxury lifestyle brand and our customers has moved past the fundamentals of the vehicle itself,” said Lexus Australia chief executive officer John Pappas.
“It reflects our understand that Lexus customers are unwilling to compromise when it comes to emotional desires and functional needs.
“They are seeking new ways to enjoy and express themselves and seeking specific solutions that will elevate their life experiences.”
A Lexus spokesperson confirmed there are currently more than 150,000 Lexus vehicles registered on Australian roads, with all of these vehicles’ owners theoretically able to subscribe to Encore Elevate.
