CHICAGO — Police are asking for help in the search for a missing man who officers say may be in need of medical attention.
According to Chicago police, 31-year-old Joseph Westbrook, who has been missing since Monday, April 1, was last seen in the 4700 block of South Normal Avenue in New City.
Authorities say the missing man, who stands 5-foot-7 and weighs around 150 pounds, has dark brown/black hair, and hazel eyes.
Westbrook was last spotted wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and black shoes.
In a photo provided by Chicago police, Westbrook is seen with a mustache and goatee, however, it is unclear if he had either at the time of his disappearance.
Authorities notified the public about the missing man’s disappearance in a news release on Thursday afternoon.
Police say Westbrook may be in need of medical attention, but did not provide specific details about any potential conditions.
