Migrant stabbed by girlfriend, another man at NYC shelter in possible love triangle clash

A migrant at a Midtown shelter was stabbed by his girlfriend and another man in a possible love triangle clash on Friday afternoon, according to police and sources.

The violence broke out at the Roosevelt Hotel on West 45th Street after the 28-year-old victim confronted the male suspect around 4:30 p.m., sources said.

The victim was upset about finding a photo of his girlfriend on the other man’s phone, according to sources.

The conflict escalated when the 22-year-old suspect slashed the man with a sharp object.

The victim’s 26-year-old girlfriend also jumped in, cutting her boyfriend with an unknown weapon, sources said.

Both suspects and the victim all reside at the hotel-turned-migrant shelter, according to sources.

Police said the victim sustained stab and slash wounds to his hand and back.

He was taken to Bellevue Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

The 22-year-old man and the 26-year-old woman were both arrested. Charges against them are pending, according to police and sources.

Earlier this month, The Post reported that dozens of arrests have been made at the swanky, Prohibition-era Roosevelt Hotel since it was converted into a makeshift shelter in May as thousands of migrants flooded into New York City.

Most of the alleged crimes were domestic-violence incidents, law-enforcement sources said.

The hotel came under scrutiny over the summer after video showed dozens of migrants sleeping on the sidewalk outside after the shelter reached its max capacity.
