Great Dane puppies rescued by Wales animal rescue centre

Enjoying a good bath, these abandoned pooches have tales to tell as well as tails to wag now they’re safe at a rescue centre.
But what this gang of Great Dane puppies really want for Christmas is a new home. They’re just a few of hundreds of animals arriving at the Many Tears Sanctuary as owners struggle with the cost of keeping pets. The pups are now eating £9 worth of food a day.
Sylvia Van Atta, 65, who runs the charity in Llanelli, South Wales, and is facing soaring bills of her own, said: “All these dogs would have been put to sleep if we hadn’t rescued them.”
