Matthew Hayden takes delivery of a Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV [Video]

Mahindra is one of the popular SUV manufacturers in India. This Indian SUV maker not only sells its SUVs in India but also in other countries. Australia, South Africa, and even the USA get Mahindra products. Just like any other brand, Mahindra also has brand ambassadors in these countries. In Australia, former cricketer Matthew Hayden has been associated with the brand for a very long time. He is the face of Mahindra Australia and has been featured in many videos for Mahindra. The former Australian cricketer recently took delivery of his brand new Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV, and a video of the same has surfaced online too.

The video has been shared by Mahindra Australia on their YouTube channel. In this video, Matthew Hayden takes the viewers on a quick tour of the dealership in Brisbane. Mahindra offers several models to the African and Australian markets that are not offered to us here. The Mahindra Scorpio Getaway, which never did great in terms of sales, is doing quite well in these international markets. Some of these Mahindra Pikups can be seen parked outside the dealership in this video.

In this video, Matthew Hayden talks about how excited he is to pick up his new car. He had booked a Mahindra Scorpio N in white shade, and it is finally ready to be picked up by the cricketer. It looks like Mahindra has been working a lot on expanding its presence in the Australian market lately. Hayden does show the SUV in this video. He really liked the white color available with the Scorpio N and has booked the SUV in the same shade. He really likes the metallic finish on this paint, which gives it a premium feel. This is the Everest White shade, which is also available in the Indian market.

He also mentions in the video that he has a lot of adventures planned with the SUV after buying it. He also mentions that the Mahindra Scorpio N recently broke a record and became the fastest crossing SUV across the Simpson Desert. The Mahindra Scorpio N was launched in the market recently, and just like the XUV700 and Thar, this SUV also became popular among buyers. The waiting period for some of the Scorpio variants is easily over a year.

The Mahindra Scorpio N is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. It is currently the only SUV in its segment to offer a proper 4×4 system. The petrol version of the SUV is available only in a 2WD format, while the diesel comes in both 2WD and 4×4 versions. The petrol version of Scorpio N is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged mStallion series engine. This engine is available with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission option. The diesel version uses a 2.2-liter mHawk turbocharged engine, which comes with both manual and automatic transmission options. It looks like Matthew Hayden has bought the top-end 4×4 variant, which is capable of going off-road. Matthew Hayden has been the brand ambassador of Mahindra Australia since 2015. He is often seen promoting Mahindra vehicles online. Earlier this year, Hayden visited Mahindra’s SUV Proving Track in Chennai, where he drove the Mahindra XUV700 and Scorpio-N.
