DENVER (KDVR) — A helicopter made an emergency landing on Tuesday afternoon near Fort Morgan, which is along Interstate 76 northeast of Denver.

The medical transport helicopter made a Mayday/911 call to Fort Morgan emergency dispatch around 3:09 p.m., Sheriff David Martin told FOX31.

Martin said the helicopter was inbound to a Fort Morgan hospital when a bird struck the aircraft. The helicopter ultimately landed upright in a field south of Brush, and everyone walked away with no injuries.

There were two nurses and a pilot on board, the sheriff said.
