Middlesbrough Draw Chelsea in Semi-Finals of 2023-24 Carabao Cup

Middlesbrough have drawn Chelsea whilst Liverpool will face Fulham in the semi-finals of 2023-24 Carabao Cup.

Michael Carrick’s Boro comfortably dispatched Port Vale to set up a blockbuster tie against Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea – who saw off Newcastle on penalties in the Quarter-Finals, with the first leg held at the Riverside Stadium followed by the return leg at Stamford Bridge.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool overcame West Ham in the Quarter-Finals and will again face Premier League opposition, as they host Fulham at Anfield in the first leg before heading to Craven Cottage for the return leg.

First legs of the two-legged semi-finals will be played across 9-10 January 2024, whilst the second legs will be played across 23-24 January.

Both legs of Liverpool’s semi-final tie however are set to be played on Wednesday 10 and 24 January, due to Jurgen Klopp’s Reds featuring in FA Cup and Premier League action on the preceeding Sundays of 7 and 21 January respectively.

This season’s Carabao Cup Final will take place on Sunday 25 February live on Sky Sports, with the kick-off time to be confirmed in due course.
