(WHTM) – “Are we having an earthquake?”
The 4.7 magnitude earthquake felt across the Tri-State area was caught on live television Friday morning.
During MLB Central on the MLB Network, the hosts were interrupted as the camera visibly shook in the studio.
Former major league baseball player Mark DeRosa was the first to bring up the quake, saying “seriously, I think we’re having an earthquake.”
Host Robert Flores confirmed he could feel the earthquake saying “this is not a bit.”
The show, which is taped in Secaucus, New Jersey, went to break as the shaking subsided. The MLB Network studio is located 47 miles northeast of the epicenter in Lebanon, New Jersey.
People across the northeast from D.C. to New England reported feeling the shake.
