Onyeka Provides Assist As Brentford Edge West Ham; Man City’s Doku Equals Pogba’s EPL Record

Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka had assist as Brentford defeated West Ham 3-2 in Saturday’s Premier League game, completesports.com reports.

City’s summer signing Jeremy Doku scored and provided four assists in the win.
Doku is now the first player to register four assists in a Premier League match since Paul Pogba against Leeds in August 2021.
He opened the scoring on 30 minutes before setting up Bernardo Silva (33 minutes) Manuel Akanji (37 minutes) Phil Foden (64 minutes) and Silva again (83 minutes) for the second, third, fourth and fifth goals respectively.
City, on 27 points, return to the top on the log after 11 games played so far.
Other results saw Crystal Palace beat Burnley 2-1, Everton played 1-1 with Brighton, and Sheffield United beat Wolves 2-1.
