Hyde helped the Orioles improve by 18 wins in 2023, claiming the division title in a loaded AL East.
The 50-year-old was a finalist for the award in 2022, finishing as the runner-up.
He becomes the fourth Baltimore manager to win the award, joining Frank Robinson (1989), Davey Johnson (1997) and Buck Showalter (2014).
Texas Rangers and Tampa Bay Rays managers Bruce Bochy and Kevin Cash were the other finalists for the award.
After handing out the AL and NL Rookie of the Year awards Monday, the BBWAA will reveal its Cy Young winners on Wednesday and the MVPs on Thursday.
