Last week an auction was held in Indiana the featured an under-represented hot rod of yesteryear. A few folks online took notice, but the details were just sketchy enough to keep most at bay. By the time the hammer went down, a local gentleman (that reportedly had prior knowledge of the car) found himself on top with a bid of $18,500. That’s one hell of deal for an Ardun powered roadster that ran at Bonneville in 1953.
