Parents protest against two-child benefit cap, claiming it’s pushed 250,00 kids into poverty

It’s been seven years since the two-child rule came into force, under which families can only claim benefits for up to two children, regardless of how many more they may actually have.
Today, campaigners took their concerns to the government, claiming one in every ten children live in households that suffer from the cap, and that 250,000 children could be brought out of poverty by scrapping it.
