The PGA of America has developed a multi-year sponsorship extension with the American brewing company, Anheuser-Busch.
Anheuser-Busch will continue to be the official beer sponsor of the PGA Championship following this agreement, and it will also hold the same title for the 2025 Ryder Cup and the PGA of America.
One of the four major championships for men’s golf will feature Michelob ULTRA (a beer brewed by Anheuser-Busch) as the lead beer brand, alongside several other top brands from Anheuser-Busch’s extensive portfolio.
Notably, Michelob ULTRA has been a sponsor of the PGA Championship since 2018.
PGA of America Senior Director, Global Partnerships Luke Reissman, said, “We are thrilled to expand upon our successful relationship with Michelob ULTRA by welcoming the brand as the Official Beer Sponsor of the PGA of America. Michelob ULTRA’s continued presence at the PGA Championship and 2025 Ryder Cup will undoubtedly elevate our spectator experience and beverage portfolio.”
Michelob ULTRA will continue to provide its unique Michelob ULTRA Athletic Club at both the PGA Championship and the 2025 Ryder Cup, offering a premium venue for all fans to enjoy. Furthermore, Michelob ULTRA will open its first Michelob ULTRA Greenside Viewing facility, which will overlook the 18th green. During the Championship Rounds, a sold-out ticketed venue at Valhalla Golf Club will be accessible to the public Monday to Wednesday, offering premier views of the finishing hole.
Matt Davis, VP of Partnerships, Anheuser-Busch, commented, “Golf has a dedicated and passionate fanbase, especially around the sport’s tentpole moments. We’re thrilled to continue to focus on this fandom in our extended sponsorship with PGA of America across the 2025 Ryder Cup and PGA Championship. Michelob ULTRA is the perfect brand for these moments – bringing Superior Access to fans across the country.”
With greenside seats and other perks, Michelob ULTRA will allow fans to be even closer to the action as part of the “Superior Access” program.
The 106th iteration of the 2024 PGA Championship will be held May 16–19 in Louisville, Kentucky’s Valhalla Golf Club. Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina is scheduled to host the 2025 PGA Championship, whereas Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania will serve as host to the 2026 PGA Championship.
The 45th Ryder Cup will take place in September 2025 at Bethpage Black in Bethpage, New York.
