Pi Day 2024: Where to find pizza and pie deals (plus a math party) on Thursday, 3/14
[ad_1]
Happy 3.14159 and on and on!
Pi Day (3/14) falls on Thursday this year. But you don’t have to remember that pi represents the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter to take advantage of these pizza pie and other pie-related promotions.
FIRST … THE PARTY: San Francisco’s Exploratorium, which created this holiday back in 1988, will host a celebration of what it calls “the irrational, transcendent, and never-ending ratio that helps describe circles of all sizes.” Tuesday’s event, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature lots of numerical fun, a pi parade and wrap up with the eating of pie. Find details and order tickets at www.exploratorium.edu.
