Before this pact, the unit onboarded brands such as STIHL India, Shiv Naresh, MuscleTech, Durashine, and DafaNews to its sponsorship kitty.
Launched by Rupert Murdoch’s Star TV Network on July 3, 2001, Radio City is the first private FM radio station in India. It originates in Bengaluru (since 2001), moves to Mumbai (since 2003), moves to Lucknow, then moves to New Delhi (since 2003) on the 91.1 megahertz frequency (formerly 91.0 in most locations). English, Hindi, and regional music are played. March 2006 saw its debut in Hyderabad; July 7, 2006, had its introduction in Chennai; and October 7, 2007, saw its premiere in Visakhapatnam. The music site radiocity.in, which offers news, videos, songs, podcasts, and other music-related content, marks Radio City’s recent entry into the new media space. It was launched in May 2008.
The Paltan started their tournament on a high note, as they defeated the defending champions Jaipur Pink Panthers, taking revenge for the heartbreak of last year’s final. The Pune-based franchise will be looking forward to continuing its winning momentum in the Maharashtra derby against U Mumba on Friday, December 8 in Bengaluru.
