I-League 3rd Division and one of the top Shillong-based clubs, Rangdajied United FC have announced a new collaboration with the Meghalaya State Tourism Board, Meghalaya Tourism.

Following the partnership, Meghalaya Tourism has become the club’s main sponsor for the upcoming season.

The club, which was founded in 1987, has reached a major turning point in its history with this agreement, which also presents both parties with exciting new chances to promote football in the area and also the lovely state of Meghalaya.

Andrew Suting , General Manager, said, “The club’s management and players are elated with this partnership, which reflects the shared vision of showcasing Meghalaya’s natural beauty, rich culture, and vibrant tourism opportunities through the medium of football. The support from Meghalaya Tourism will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and development of the football club while simultaneously drawing attention to the treasures of the state.”

For their constant support and encouragement, the I-League 2nd Division 2013 champions also expressed their profound gratitude to the state’s Honourable Chief Minister, Shri Conrad Sangma, and the Minister of Tourism, Shri Paul Lyngdoh. Their goal of promoting both sports and tourism in Meghalaya is an excellent match with the club’s objective. Moreover, their dedication to improving the state’s athletic environment and tourist potential is embodied in this partnership.

The club based in Mawngap-Mawphlang, in the south-west of Shillong, anticipates that its collaboration with Meghalaya Tourism will give the team new energy and impetus as the 2023–24 season commences in Goa. With an eye towards a fruitful and mutually beneficial partnership, the club hopes to represent Meghalaya with pride on and off the pitch.

Recently, the club also roped in the multinational sportswear and equipment brand, Puma as its official uniform partner for the upcoming season. As part of the deal, the players will don Puma’s cutting-edge apparel, signifying the dedication to excellence that both companies have in common.
