Man rushed to hospital after assault in Glasgow city centre

Just after 6pm on Wednesday evening, police were called to Howard Street in the city centre after reports of an assault at a premises. 

Police and ambulance arrived at the scene where a male victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

Images at the scene show a number of police vehicles and an ambulance parked at the side of the road.

Glasgow Times:

Although currently there are no arrests, police have launched an investigation into the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.10pm on Wednesday, 8 November, 2023, police were called to a report of a man having been assaulted within a premises in Howard Street, Glasgow.

“Emergency services attended and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
