Man taken to hospital after police called following concern for welfare report

Officers were sent to Dale Street in Radcliffe at around 1.20pm following reports of a concern for welfare of a man.
Emergency services arrived and found the man before he was taken to hospital.
A large police presence was reported, including an air ambulance helicopter.
“Enquiries are ongoing”, Greater Manchester Police has said.

A force spokesperson said: “At around 1.20pm on Saturday, officers were called to reports of a concern for welfare of a man on Dale Street, Radcliffe.
“Emergency services attended and located the male, he has been taken to hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing at this stage.”
