Stamfrey Farm, in West Rounton, Northallerton has won the North Yorkshire town’s Business of the Year award from the Northallerton Tourist Information Centre.

The family-run farm, offers its organic milk, hugely popular milkshakes, award-winning yoghurt, award-winning clotted cream and more for sale from its self-service milk shed.

The Northern Echo:

The happy herd of cows produces 100 per cent organic and antibiotic-free milk, which when sold from the Milk Shed, has zero food miles and guaranteed traceability – so it is no wonder business is booming for the North Yorkshire farm.

Stamfrey Farm’s yoghurt and clotted cream, produced by hand on the farm, have also both won awards.

The Gaudies, who run the farm, were thrilled to win the award this year.

Mr and Mrs Gaudie said: “We are so incredibly grateful for the support of the people of Northallerton and further afield.”

Northallerton TIC ran a year-long ‘Business of the Week’ competition, which featured over 100 local businesses.

For the annual award, the business that received the most support in 2023 took the coveted crown from previous winners Dolcie, Northallerton’s dessert emporium.
