Officers say they were called to a crash between a pedestrian and a car on Battlefield Road in the city’s Southside shortly after 8.30am on Wednesday, February 28.
We previously reported that Glasgow City Council said the road was forced to close due to the incident.
Following the accident, the woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Officers were called to Battlefield Road, Glasgow, at around 8.30am on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 following a crash involving a car and female pedestrian.
“The pedestrian was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
