Hythe & Waterside Rotary regularly assists New Forest Young Carers, a division of Community First, currently aiding 230 young individuals aged from seven to 18.

Sue Ward, a support worker from Community First, said: “So far it has helped us to provide some extra sparkle at a Christmas workshop at Applemore Scout hut, panto tickets at Forest Forge, a group activity session in Calshot, transport for three Marchwood and Totton young carers to go to an activity day at the Avon Tyrell centre, and transport for two Totton young carers to go to an activity day at Beaulieu.

“We are so grateful to Hythe & Waterside Rotary and the support they continue to give us. It makes a real difference to the number of children we can help.”
