Six charged over alleged mass brawl which left three in hospital

Five men from Brighton and Hove and one man from Oldham have been charged with violent disorder after appearing in court today. Three of the men have also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon and one with grievous bodily harm with intent.
Sussex Police say they have also arrested another man and bailed two others pending further enquiries.
Emergency services cordoned off the pavement outside a barber shop in Boundary Road, Portslade on Tuesday afternoon. Sussex Police said that three men were taken to hospital with two of the men in a critical condition.
Following the incident:
- Kosar Banaee, 19, of Elm Grove has been charged with violent disorder and remanded in custody.
- Hogr Banaee, 23, of Roman Road in Hove, has been charged with violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon and remanded in custody.
- Kozheen Banaee, 23, of Montpelier Road has been charged with violent disorder, possession of an offensive weapon and grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been remanded in custody.
- Ali Husseini, 19, of Dyke Road, Brighton, has been charged with violent disorder.
- Ayob Mohammed, 20, of Western Road, Brighton, has been charged with violent disorder and remanded in custody.
- Sardam Qadir, 30 of Blacksail Walk, Oldham, has been charged with violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Husseini and Qadir have been bailed with strict conditions.
Sussex Police say they have arrested a 24-year-old man from Norfolk on suspicion of violent disorder, possession of an offensive weapon and grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in custody.
A 21-year-old from Brighton and 29-year-old from Worthing have been released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of affray and affray, possession of an offensive weapon and grievous bodily harm with intent respectively.
Police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection to the incident.
The six men charged are due to appear in court again on May 2.
