Police were called to Shirley High Street to reports of an altercation between a large group of people on Saturday night.
The incident took place at around 11.52pm.
No serious injuries were reported but now four people have been arrested.

A 29-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman from Southampton were arrested on suspicion of affray.
A 28-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman from Southampton were also arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
Both men and the 22-year-old woman have been released from police custody on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
The 28-year-old woman has been released from police custody but remains under investigation while enquiries continue.
