Ricki Lake slipped back into a red-hot swimsuit that she first wore on a magazine cover 17 years ago.
“Then and now. 2007-2024,” the TV host, 55, captioned the striking images on Instagram Monday.
“I held onto this #NormaKamali one-piece for all these years wondering if I would ever be able to wear it again.”
Lake asked former Us Weekly fashion director Sasha Charnin Morrison whether she remembered the ’07 photo shoot before concluding her post with hashtags including “#thisis55” and “#hardwork.”
The makeup-free “Hairspray” star accessorized the vintage bathing suit, which features a sweetheart neckline and peplum waist, with a pair of sky-high black pumps and wore her gray bob swept back.
Lake famously covered Us Weekly nearly two decades ago to flaunt her tremendous weight loss, which saw her decrease from a size 24 to a 4.
The actress recently went on another weight loss journey, shedding nearly 30 pounds without using popular drugs such as Ozempic and Wegovy, to which plenty of stars have turned.

“On October 26th, 2023 I made a commitment to myself to get healthier. My husband, Ross [Burningham] joined me in this effort,” she captioned an Instagram carousel of photos last weekend.
Lake explained that she and Burningham wanted to try to lose weight on their own but said she was a “bit worried” she would not be able to do so because she is going through perimenopause — the transitional period before menopause when a woman’s ovaries gradually begin to produce less estrogen.
“I am so so proud of us. I feel amazing. I feel strong,” she wrote.
“But suffice to say this is the healthiest way I’ve lost weight in all of my years.”
