Rihanna has opened up on how she is coping as a new mom of two, after giving birth to her second child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky.
The Diamonds singer welcomed son Riot in August after confirming her pregnancy in style at the recent Super Bowl Halftime show.
The happy couple have been holed up in their baby bubble ever since, but the 34-year-old admitted that eldest son RZA initially struggled to give up the attention to his little brother.
Appearing on the red carpet at the Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty launch party on Monday night, she made a rare comment on her brood.
‘He struggled in the beginning, but he loves his little brother,’ she told Entertainment Tonight of RZA’s brotherly efforts. ‘Every time he thinks we’re not looking at him, he’ll come over and touch him. If the baby’s crying, he’ll just hold his hands. It hurts him if the baby’s crying.
‘He’ll wake up in the morning just saying, “Baby, baby, baby.” He loves him. It took a while, but he got there, and I’m proud of him.
‘They’re the best though. Having a house full of boys, I thought I was a girl mom, but I’m a boy mom. I love this. I love it.’
While at the bash, RiRi couldn’t help but give fans a tease of new music, insisting that she will be getting back on the road with some new tracks very soon.
‘We’re always going to go back on tour. I want to do a tour when there’s new music,’ she added. ‘I feel like it’s only fair that my fans get what they’ve been waiting on, which is new music.
‘After that, let’s just blow everything up.’
Well, she said it…
According to reports, the We Found Love icon could be getting back on the road as early as next year, after signing a deal thought to be worth £32million with Live Nation.
It has been claimed that Rihanna is planning a ‘major’ run of performances, as well as ‘two albums’ filled with new songs for us all.
‘Rihanna is quietly planning a comeback tour after signing with Live Nation,’ an insider told the Mirror. ‘The deal was created to facilitate a world tour and her creative team is quietly at work in Los Angeles putting it all together as she raises her family.
‘She’ll press play on the live show once she’s ready to go back to work and has two albums’ worth of material to release once she’s back.’
Could 2024 finally be our year?!
