The Washington Wizards are reportedly open to trading Kyle Kuzma ahead of the February 8 trade deadline. The 28-year-old has been with the franchise since 2021 and has become a core part of the team’s rotation. However, during the summer, the Wizards entered a full-scale rebuild, trading away Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis.

According to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, Kuzma could be the next veteran to leave Washington, D.C. The franchise has reportedly informed teams around the NBA that they’d be willing to part with their star forward for “multiple first-round picks.”

“The Wizards have informed rival teams they’re open to trading veterans in search of future draft assets for Washington’s rebuild, sources said. Early impressions are the Wizards hope to receive multiple first-round picks for Kuzma, with the goal of receiving maximum draft capital for other players down their roster as well,” Fischer reported.
