Schenectady man sentenced for meth, fentanyl charges

SCHENCETADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Schenectady man has been sentenced for multiple drug sale charges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Hason Harres, 47, now faces four years and nine months in federal prison.
Harres previously pleaded guilty to distributing more than 1,400 counterfeit oxycodone pills that contained fentanyl and 92 grams of meth. Investigators determined that he was on post-release supervision for a state drug conviction at the time of the offenses.
In addition to the prison sentence, Harres was also ordered to forfeit $13,800 as well as serve a term of supervision of four years following his release.
