One person was rushed to hospital Wednesday morning after a serious assault in Winnipeg’s Elmwood neighbourhood.

One person was rushed to hospital Wednesday morning after a serious assault in Winnipeg’s Elmwood neighbourhood.

Police were called to the intersection of Watt Street at Talbot Avenue just after 8 a.m.

The person is listed in unstable condition. Police have not released any details on the age or sex of the victim or whether any arrests have been made.

The southbound lanes of Watt are closed at Talbot as part of the investigation.
