Gunshots hit Ford City home in Windsor, Ont., police continue to investigate | CBC News

Windsor police are investigating after they say multiple shots were fired in a Ford City neighbourhood. It was called in to authorities around 7:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday, but happened earlier that morning.

Windsor police continue to investigate after they say multiple shots were fired in a Ford City neighbourhood.

The incident was called in to authorities around 7:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday.

Officers responded to reports of gunshots at a Drouillard Road home in the area of Richmond Street. 

“Through investigation, officers learned that two bullets were shot into the victim’s house in the early hours of the morning,” police said in a statement. 

“Officers located the bullets inside the house.”

No injuries were reported, according to police.

They’re asking residents in the area to check for possible surveillance or dash cam evidence captured between 2 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. on Apr. 2, 2024.
