Help fight hunger in our community this holiday season.
Join CBC on Friday, Dec. 8, for an afternoon of giving, art and community at CBC Hamilton.
All food and funds raised will support Hamilton Food Share. Doors will be open from 3 to 7 p.m. at 118 James St. N., Hamilton. Standing space is limited.
This special event will feature slam poetry performances by Hamilton You Poets throughout the afternoon.
Drop by to share a story of your own with the CBC team, meet reporters, hear a performance and support Hamilton Food Share.
Limited edition CBC swag will also be available to win while supplies last.
How to donate
This year, the need is greater than ever. Hamilton Food Share is reporting a 40 per cent increase in household visits and a 39 per cent increase in children served in 2023.
The most needed items are canned meats, canned vegetables, pasta and rice.
