WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) -President Joe Biden delivered his third State of the Union address before Congress and the nation.

This speech comes at a critical time as it is the president’s last State of the Union address before Election Day.

“A future where the days of trickle-down economics are over,” he said.

“We have to stand up to Putin! Send me a bipartisan national security bill!”

President Biden also announced plans to add a port in Gaza that will be used by the U.S. and partners to get aid to Palestinians.

“No U.S. boots will be on the ground. A temporary pier would enable a massive increase in the amount of humanitarian assistance,” he said.

While just outside protesters called for a cease-fire.

“Israel also has a fundamental responsibility though to protect innocent civilians in Gaza,” Biden added.

Democrats rallied behind the president as he criticized Republicans’ efforts to decrease access to reproductive healthcare.

“Like most Americans, I believe Roe v. Wade got it right.”
