In New York City, a mysterious egg crashes into a dilapidated apartment and hatches a peculiar spider. Found by 12-year-old comic book enthusiast, Charlotte, she secretly keeps the spider, named Sting. As Charlotte’s fixation on Sting grows, so does it, developing a terrifying hunger for blood. Pets, then neighbours, begin disappearing, trapping everyone within the building with a giant, man-eating arachnid. Charlotte, however, holds the key to stopping it.
