I was scolded by a stranger for my leggings – she tried to get me kicked out

A LEGGING lover was scolded by a stranger over one small design detail.
She was left in disbelief over the comment she received for not being covered up enough.
“Why people feel the need to comment on what other people leave the house in, I will never understand,” said Lilly (@barbiegirl08160).
She explained how a hardly noticeable piece of material prompted the unpleasant experience.
Lilly acknowledged that there is a half an inch of lace on each side of her black leggings near her hips that make her undergarments visible.
But she clarified that her panties were also black.
“It’s not obnoxious looking,” said Lilly.
The stranger couldn’t help but ask if she was aware that she could see through her leggings.
Lilly’s initial reaction was that the black material was more see-through than she first realized, which wasn’t her intent.
Such was not the case.
“She meant the lace,” explained the legging wearer.
Lilly proceeded to tell the woman that she indeed knew about that small detail.
“I’m aware. They were like that when I bought them and when I put them on and when I left the house,” she said.
The judgmental stranger continued to explain that she could see her panties – and waited for a response.
“I just replied with well, whatever stops this conversation right now, whatever it takes, fine. If it upsets you so much I’ll take them off.”
When the confused woman responded by asking if she was referring to removing the pants or panties, Lilly couldn’t help herself when she snapped back.
“You clearly want to see more skin so you tell me which one would make you more happy?”
Apparently neither was an acceptable choice as the stranger went to inform the staff about the inappropriate outfit.
Luckily for Lilly, the staff at the establishment that she frequently visited asked only one person to leave – and it wasn’t her.
She had just one thing left to ask: “Why did you have to do that?”
The fashionista’s fans were ready to help her take on the trolls.
“I don’t get it. Only time I’m going to comment is to compliment,” said one confused follower.
Another viewer could relate: “I had a lady say almost the exact same thing to me once.”
“Watch out for the fashion sheriff,” yet another follower joked.
