JLR Australia is celebrating the Pacific coastline of Australia and our surf culture with a special Land Rover Defender.

Just 15 examples of the Pacific Blue Edition Defender 90 will be available, priced from $129,976 before on-road costs. Orders are now open with deliveries expected in May 2024.

The special edition is unique to Australia, and is based on the base-model Defender S with the D250 3.0-litre inline-six twin-turbo diesel engine, which produces 183kW of power and 570Nm of torque.

The special edition has a Pacific Blue matte finish, a white roof, white grille highlights, white accents on the door handles, and white 18-inch steel wheels with all-terrain tyres.

Other features include a sliding panoramic roof and privacy glass.

All 15 models are equipped with electronic air suspension, JLR’s Adaptive Dynamics, and headlight levelling.

Land Rover is also providing customers with a custom Defender surfboard, a black side-mounted gear carrier, fixed side steps, an Aqua Sports Carrier, a portable rinse system, black roof rails as well as a tow hitch receiver and locking wheel nuts.

Inside, the special edition model includes white elements on the steering wheel and door panels. It also features a white powder-coated dashboard, 12-way power-adjustable and heated front seats finished in Ebony leather, and an upgraded Meridian sound system.

Each model will have unique “1 of 15” badging.
