GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) — ADK Tabletop Day returns to the Charles R. Wood Theater in Glens Falls on Saturday, April 6. This year’s event is titled “Springadune: The Dice Must Flow” and the mascot is a giant earthworm.

Tabletop gaming enthusiasts can sign up for structured time slots featuring board games, card games, and role-playing games, or play in the large gaming space and borrow from the lending library of over 300 games (or bring your own game). The event is open to people of all ages and skill levels and will run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Attendees will also be raising money for the North Shore Animal League – Adirondack Region Cat Adoption Center in Glens Falls. Volunteers from the shelter will be at the event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with adoptable kittens. Attendees can make a monetary or supply donation if they’d like and a raffle drawing will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, with all money raised going to the shelter.

Event vendors include Go Play With Your Food, a board game tavern in Glens Falls, Gamer Gifts by FSP, and game designers Ringstrue Games and Sour Llama Studios. “Gamer Yard Sale Tables” will let attendees part with a game or take home a “gently used” one.

You can buy tickets on the Charles R. Wood Theater website, although it is free to shop and look around if you’re not planning on playing a game. The event is sponsored by Go Play with Your Food, as well as Freakopolis Geekery and Gamer Gifts by FSP.
