Former Traitor star Maddy lifts the lid on the truth behind the show’s filming schedule

The season one star dished on taking part in The Traitors on social media.

She explained that the contestants do not live in the castle set in the Highlands but stay in accommodation thirty minutes away.

Among the questions she received, she was asked: “How long were you filming for?”

Maddy disclosed: “So, I was there for three weeks before I was (given the chop). But yeah, three weeks, and I think they went another three or four days or something.”

Tonight’s debut episode of the show concluded with Claudia telling the fourth traitor their fate, leaving viewers at home on a cliffhanger because they couldn’t see who it was.

She said: “You stand before the traitors’ turret, before I give you this cloak, I need you to take the traitors’ oath.

“Do you commit to lie and deceive throughout the game? Are you willing to murder your fellow players every single night? Do you vow to keep your identity and the identity of your fellow traitors a secret?

“You are now officially a traitor – happy murdering.”
