This German tuner will build you a G63 Convertible for $1.3 million – The Supercar Blog

In 2017, Mercedes-Maybach introduced the G650 Landaulet – a G-Class convertible based on the extended chassis with the suspension and portal axles borrowed from the G 500 4×4². Only 99 units were produced, at a price tag of around $830,000. Today, you can find a good example for about $1 million.
If you’re looking for a more compact SUV convertible, Refined Marques, a German tuner, can transform your standard G63 into a “Landaulet” for $1.3 million.
The G63 Convertible by Refined Marques features a fabric roof, just like the Maybach and gets Rolls Royce-inspired suicide doors. The interior is what you’d expect in a Mercedes-AMG G63, albeit with custom leather all around. It is powered by the stock 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 577 hp on tap.
According to Refined Marques, they initially intended to build a one-off example. However, as the word spread, more and more clients expressed interest in buying one. So, the company decided to build 20 units.
