This man does not wear a helmet but never gets fined: Here’s why!
[ad_1]
Everyone driving on public roads should always follow traffic rules. Following the rules laid out always ensures that everyone’s life is safe at all times. However, what if someone wants to follow those rules but they just can’t? Yes, this statement may seem odd at first, but this is actually what is happening with this particular man from Gujarat. Recently, a video has gone viral on the internet where this man from Gujarat physically and literally cannot wear a helmet.
For those who do not believe, above is the video shared by vpfactshorts on Instagram. The video shows and talks about a man from Gujarat by the name of Zakir Memon. The video mentions that Zakir Memon, who hails from Chhota Udepur in Gujarat, does not wear a helmet while riding his bike. Now the weird part about this is that despite the disobedience of traffic law, he still does not receive any fines from the traffic police.

Now you may be wondering why it is so? Well, the answer is that Zakir can physically not wear any helmet as his head is too big to fit in one. The video mentions that the police authorities have even taken Zakir to a helmet shop; however, after trying on numerous large helmets, his head does not fit in any of them. His head is way too big for any helmet. So because of this genuine reason, the police authorities of the city do not fine him. They have stated that as it is a natural problem that does not have any solution as of now, they cannot fine the man.
Is there a solution?
Now it may seem odd to comprehend something like this; however, it is the truth. If something actually is not his fault to begin with, he should not and cannot be fined. The only solution for this man to wear a helmet is if any helmet manufacturer steps in and creates a helmet specially with Zakir’s head’s dimensions. However, at the moment, no companies have reportedly stepped in to take care of Zakir’s problem. So until then, he can ride his bike without the helmet.
Should you also drive without a helmet?
In short, the answer is a definite no. Also, it is to be noted that in no way, shape, or form, we are suggesting that anybody reading this should drive without a helmet. On the contrary, we request each and every person reading this to wear a helmet and obey all traffic rules. Following the traffic rules is the best thing that a citizen can do, as it ensures that they and all others on public roads are safe at all times.
Non-obedience of traffic rules contributes to a massive death toll in India every year. A census from 2022 revealed that there were a total of 1,55,622 deaths due to road accidents in India. It was also reported that around 59.7 percent of fatalities occurred due to over-speeding. So for this reason, we cannot stress enough the importance of maintaining safe speeds on roads and highways, along with following other traffic rules.
