Thousands of LinkedIn users report outage, cannot access platform

(KRON) — LinkedIn users have reported an outage and cannot access the website Wednesday afternoon. Thousands of LinkedIn users cannot access the social media platform catered to professional networking.

As of 12:55 p.m., there have been more than 48,000 reports of users not being able to access their LinkedIn accounts, according to Downdetector. Many of them took to X and posted a screenshot of their screen when trying to log on to LinkedIn.

LinkedIn was founded in 2003 in the San Francisco Bay Area. It has offices in San Francisco and Mountain View. Its headquarters are in Sunnyvale.

On Tuesday, there was a nationwide Meta outage in which users could not access their Facebook and Instagram accounts.
