It’s almost the Easter weekend. Here’s some key information for those looking to be out and about in Toronto. 

LCBO and Beer Stores closed Friday and Sunday, most attractions open

It’s almost the Easter weekend — and according to Environment Canada, it should be a nice one in the city.

The forecast from Friday to Monday is full of sun and clouds, with a high of 9 C.

Here’s some key information for those looking to be out and about in Toronto. 

What’s open and closed:

Grocery stores

Most grocery stores will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. 

Attractions

  • CN Tower: 10 a.m. to 9p.m. all weekend.
  • Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Ontario Science Centre: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. all weekend. 
  • Toronto Zoo: 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. all weekend. 
  • Royal Ontario Museum: 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Closed Monday.
  • Art Gallery of Ontario: Closed due to ongoing labour strike.

City facilities 

  • Community centres: Closed Friday and Monday. Regularly scheduled drop-in programs and registered activities will operate on Saturday and Sunday.
  • High Park Animal Display: Open daily, 9 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Conservatories: Open daily, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Toronto History Museums: Closed Friday, open Saturday and Sunday. Closed on Monday.
  • Cedar Ridge Creative Centre, Assembly Hall and Clark Centre for the Arts: Closed Friday and Monday, open Saturday and Sunday.
  • Etobicoke Civic Centre Art Gallery: Closed all weekend. 
  • St. Lawrence Market: Closed Friday, Sunday and Monday. Open Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Malls

  • CF Eaton Centre: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Good Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Easter Sunday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Easter Monday.
  • Yorkdale Mall: Closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday. The following businesses will be open: Cineplex, Moxies, The Cheesecake Factory, Café Landwer, Joeys and Yu Seafood. The Pickle Barrel will be closed Friday and open Sunday.
  • Scarborough Town Centre: Closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Open Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Square One Shopping Centre: Closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Open Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Vaughan Mills: Closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Open Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Pacific Mall: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. all weekend.

LCBO and Beer Store

  • Beer Store and LCBO outlets will be closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Some LCBO locations may be open for modified hours on Easter Monday.

Transit

  • The TTC and GO Transit will operate reduced holiday service on Friday.

Other

  • Toronto Public Library branches will be closed on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. 
  • Service Canada locations will be closed on Good Friday and Monday.
  • Most ServiceOntario locations will be closed Good Friday and Monday. Select locations will be open Monday.
