UK’s first Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider shares garage space with a DB5 – The Supercar Blog

Aston Martin has delivered the first customer Valkyrie Spider in the UK. The owner also brought along his prized possessions – a beautiful DB5 and a Valkyrie coupe for the handover ceremony. He also owns a Ferrari Daytona SP3!
UK’s first Valkyrie Spider is finished in British Racing Green and rides on silver wheels. The spec looks rather underwhelming compared to the coupe, which has a striking yellow exterior with red accents. The spider version of Aston’s flagship hypercar features a removable targa top and gets redesigned doors instead of the gullwing type.
The Valkyrie Spider uses the same Cosworth-built 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 mated to a Rimac-sourced KERS hybrid system. Its combined output is 1176 hp, channelled to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Aston Martin has capped the production of the Valkyrie Spider to 85 units.
