Update: Street-legal Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo is fake! – The Supercar Blog

Earlier this week, images of what appeared to be a street-legal Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo had surfaced on social media. Since Audi is coming up with an R8 GT2 with license plates, it was speculated that perhaps Lamborghini also had similar plans. However, we can now confirm that’s not happening.
The images of the track-focused Huracan that are all over the internet are actually digital renderings by @jpog.photographie. We must give him credit for creating such realistic renderings of the car.
The artist calls it the Lamborghini Essenza STO EVO. It’s named after the track-only Essenza SCV12 and the most hardcore production Huracan, the STO. He describes it as, “The pure essence of driving made in Sant’agata.”
The Essenza STO EVO is a road-legal version of the Huracan Trofeo EVO with revised aerodynamics, and an upgraded V10 engine tuned to nearly 700 hp.
“Here is my new project based on a Lamborghini Huracan Trofeo EVO if it were to exist in a road-legal version. A 700hp V10, pure propulsion, revised aerodynamics for even more downforce and here is probably the most violent road Lamborghini there is,” the artist explains.
