Rafael Leao and Davide Calabria had MRIs today following injuries sustained in the encounter against Lecce.
Rafael Leao was found to have a first degree injury to his right hamstring. The recovery times have not been disclosed and will be evaluated in detail in the next few hours but the certainty is that Pioli will not be able to count on his best player for a few weeks.
The Rossoneri striker will not respond to Portugal’s call-up for the qualifiers for the next European Championships. The home match against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, scheduled for November 28, also remains at great risk.
For AC Milan captain Davide Calabria, however, it is an overload edema of the left semitendinosus flexor, injuries have been ruled out for the full-back.
