Harry Kane makes Premier League return stance clear after Arsenal heroics – Footymercato.com

Harry Kane admits “his future is at Bayern Munich” following his decision to leave Tottenham and quit the Premier League last summer.
The striker has been prolific throughout his career and had been closing in on Alan Shearer’s all-time goalscoring record in the English top flight. He opted to depart north London however and join the German giants, which he admits was “the step he needed for his career”.
Kane has enjoyed a record-breaking campaign from a personal point of view at the Allianz Arena, albeit Bayern have struggled and look certain to relinquish their Bundesliga crown this term. The England skipper has been linked with a return to his homeland ever since leaving.
The 30-year-old penned a four-year deal in Germany and has given no indication he will return, furthering underlining that his focus is with the Bavarian outfit.

He said: “I’m really enjoying my experience in Germany and it was a step that I needed in my career for a fresh stimulus, a fresh challenge and new surroundings, new stadiums, new teams and I’m really happy that I made the move.
“Of course, I know how big the Premier League is, I played there for so many years before and my future is at Bayern Munich. I have a four-year contract, I’m really enjoying it, hopefully I will be able to make something special happen this season.
“But if not, I’ll be ready to go again in the summer and turn things around. It’s been a disappointing season in the Bundesliga mainly compared to what Leverkusen have done. You have to give them credit and respect but Arsenal was a chance to show our togetherness and we’ve done that.”

Kane scored on his return to north London as he cooly converted from the spot as the Germans drew 2-2 with Arsenal in the first-leg of their last eight clash. That was his 39th strike in 38 outings, yet he could still finish the season without breaking his trophy drought.
Bayern were shocked early on in the German Cup with Thomas Tuchel already surrendering the league title to Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen. It means European success is the only chance Kane and the club have of landing any silverware.
Kane said: “Of course it’s not the season I wanted with the way the league’s gone, the way we got knocked out of the cup early in the season and now we have hopes in the Champions League which would be an amazing achievement.”
