Manager could ‘willingly accept’ Leeds man’s exit in January – Everything could change quickly in next week – Sport Witness – Footymercato.com

Earlier on in the transfer window, there was talk that Paris Saint-Germain were looking to sign Diego Llorente, currently contracted to Leeds United but on loan at AS Roma.
The centre-back was a mainstay under José Mourinho, but since the Portuguese manager was fired and replaced by Daniele De Rossi, things could change quickly.
Corriere dello Sport point out that while they wait for Chris Smalling’s return, the new Italian manager could ‘willingly accept the departure’ of the Leeds player.
He is not owned by AS Roma and wanted by Paris Saint-Germain, and that would leave him with the likes of Mancini, Huijsen and N’Dicka as centre-backs for his 4-3-3 formation, with Cristante as an emergency.
What does play in the Leeds loanee’s favour is that he was chosen for the 2-1 win over Hellas Verona at the weekend, but that was more out of necessity than anything else.
Something to keep an eye on, especially as we head into the final week of the January transfer window.
