Serie A giants Milan are contemplating renewing Theo Hernandez’s contract as Bayern Munich’s interest grows stronger.
According to a report by Daniele Longo, Milan are aiming to renew Theo Hernandez’s contract at the end of the season to fend off any interest from other clubs in the player.
The Frenchman is happy with the Rossoneri at the moment but he and his agent will take a general look after the season to assess the direction of the club’s future and future goals.
Milan are set to improve his contract and offer a salary of €4.5 million plus bonuses in the new proposal. However, there is no rush as the 26-year-old’s current contract expires in 2026 and there will be plenty of time to plan.
This move comes after a strong interest from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich who are potentially looking for a replacement for Alphonso Davies who might leave for Real Madrid this summer. Theo Hernandez is worth more than €90 million in the current transfer market but Milan have no plans of selling their star man now.
