According to Foot Mercato, Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund have both shown an initial interest in Cercle Brugge striker Kevin Denkey (23).
The Togo international has taken the Belgian top-flight by storm this season cementing himself as one of the outstanding attackers within the Juplier Pro League. Denkey has scored 22 goals in 26 league appearances for the Brugge side this season.
With such impressive performances from the former Nimes striker, he has attracted the interest of some of Europe’s elite clubs. The German and English clubs have both sent scouts to watch the prolific Togolese striker ahead of the summer transfer window. Brugge are determined to keep their star striker and will require a fee of €20m in order to sell the 23-year-old.
Attracting Ligue 1 interest
Denkey is not only the subject of interest from Spurs and Dortmund. The striker is also attracting interest from clubs in Ligue 1. Olympique Lyonnais, Lille OSC, Stade Rennais, and RC Lens are all thought to be monitoring the forward, according to Wait & See 16.
